Just a few years ago starting a web site and promoting it used to be relatively easy. Previously, what you needed to do to successfully market your web site is read a few articles or maybe a small book on the basics of Internet marketing and get to work. The ways to promote the web sites are now numerous and complicated; you may buy traffic or work 24/7 to attract it from blogs and forums, text ads and banner exchanges, and so on, and so forth.

However, one thing was and remains the key to your web site success, and this is your content. All your efforts will be in vain if the visitors you have attracted to your web site find nothing interesting on it. They will never return. And vice versa, excellent content will turn even a casual visitor into a repeated one, and he or she will be coming back for more and suggesting your web site to others.
